Records have been smashed in terms of early voting in Ada County. The previous record was in 2012 with just under 20,000 people.
As of yesterday, 39,000 people have voted early in Ada County. Ada County election officials say it's mainly because they've made a big effort to reach voters where it's convenient for them.
Officials say by expanding to more early voting locations with the mobile booth, they have been able to make it fit in to voters busy schedules.
They are expecting a high turnout for the last day of early voting and on election day so if you're planning to go out and vote, they have a few tips.
"The best hours to vote in terms of on election day as well as early voting are early in the morning or around three o’clock. The lunch hour and the evening is when it starts to pick up a little bit,” said Phil McGrane, Ada County Chief Deputy Clerk.
