Kuna woman dies two days after crash in Caldwell

CALDWELL—Idaho State Police reported a woman who injured in Friday crash has died.

On Friday, April 22, 2016, at approximately 4:15 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash, on I-84 at milepost 29, near Caldwell.

Homero Rosales Gallegos, 24, of Caldwell, was driving westbound in a 1998 Kenworth semi pulling a single trailer. Emily Regennitter, 21, of Kuna, driving westbound in a 2012 Ford Focus, struck the rear of the trailer.

Rosales Gallegos was wearing a seatbelt and was not transported, while Regennitter was not wearing a seatbelt, and was transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

According to Idaho State Police, Emily Regennitter succumbed to her injuries at the hospital on Sunday, April 24th, 2016.
