KUNA — A 47-year-old Kuna man is charged with multiple felonies for allegedly having illegal sexual contact with children over a decade.
Ronald Manzer is charged with two felony counts of lewd conduct and seven felony counts of sex abuse of a minor under the age of sixteen.
According to Ada County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Patrick Orr, “Our detectives began their direct investigation in the case earlier this fall, after being contacted by a different law enforcement agency with information that Manzer had illegal sexual contact with three different children between 2000 to 2012 at a residence in Kuna.”
An Ada County grand jury indicted Manzer Tuesday.
“Members of our ACTION team arrested Manzer a short time later and booked him into the Ada County Jail,” Orr said. ACTION is an acronym for Anti-Crime Team in Our Neighborhoods.
Manzer is scheduled for arraignment on the charges Dec. 28.
The crimes are punishable by up to life in prison, Orr stated.
