KUNA, Ida. — The City of Kuna is looking for volunteers to patrol the area's portion of the Greenbelt.

City leaders purchased a new golf cart and trained two citizen volunteers to begin the new patrol. Volunteers will keep a close eye on the Greenbelt and all the areas near Indian Creek, watching for anyone in need of help.

"In addition to looking for potential criminal activity, we're excited that our volunteers are out here as a resource for our public," explains Kuna Police Chief Jon McDaniel. "Whether it's somebody that sprained an ankle or had a flat tire, we want to be there for our public and support them in any way we can."

Kuna is always looking for more volunteers to join their patrols. To find out more and apply for the patrol, click here.
