An anonymous source tipped off 6 On Your Side that Nampa Police arrested Kuna High School football coach Robby Lee Washington just after 4 p.m. this afternoon.

Officers received a tip that Washington was in possession of hard drugs, methamphetamine and cocaine we’re told.  The arresting officer charged Washington with 2 felony counts of possession of controlled substance.  He also charged Washington with another misdemeanor drug charge.

Washington played football for Boise State from 1987-1991.  He has coached optimist football in the Treasure Valley and junior high school football.  Washington is now the running backs coach at Kuna High School.

6 On Your Side’s source tells us they are concerned that Washington works with kids’ everyday and thought parents should know.
