Joyriding vandals damage private property

Posted

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is not pleased that someone with a car, four-wheeler, or motorcycle drove across private property and caused muddy ruts on private land.

“Besides being illegal, it’s a crappy and rude thing to do to a fellow Ada County resident. So if we catch anyone doing that, they’re getting charged,” the ACSO wrote in a post on their Facebook page.

The property owners have to flatten out and smooth out the ruts which can costs several hundred dollars.

The damage could warrant a year in jail and a $1,000 fine if you are caught.

Anyone with information should call Ada County dispatch at 377-6790.
