BOISE, Idaho — The J. A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation Bike Park is now reopened for public use following stage two of Governor Little's reopening plan.

Boise Parks and Recreation opened up all dirt tracks this weekend, but the pump track remains closed for social distancing reasons.

The bike skills park had its grand opening in December of 2019, and was only open for a few short months before temporarily closing due to the novel coronavirus.

The trails are ranked similarly to a ski resort, with a green circle for beginner, blue square for intermediate, black diamond for advanced, and double black diamond for expert. It is urged trail riders note the difficulty of a trail before riding.

Hours of operation are from sunrise to sunset, weather permitting, which means wet trails should be avoided to prevent erosion.
