IDAHO — Traffic was backed up in both directions for a short time on I-84 Sunday afternoon, near the Eagle Road exit in Meridian, due to a car crash that sent a truck into a nearby canal, according to Idaho State Police.
The driver experienced a medical issue, according to police, causing their pickup to leave the ground and come to a rest in a canal near the interstate.
Police say the driver was not transported to a hospital and that there were no injuries.
The right lane was blocked for one hour while crews worked to clear the scene.
Police are still investigating the crash.
