From Micron to Idaho National laboratories, high school students are getting inspired by Idaho businesses to figure out what they want to do in life.

Junior Achievement of Idaho held they're Inspire to Hire event today at Boise state university. Over 700 students, grades 8th through 12th, from multiple Treasure Valley schools visited with more than 35 state and local businesses to learn the tools of their trade.

Students also took part in mock interviews and had their resumes looked over by professionals, it's an effort to be one step closer to their dream job.

"Students need to start thinking at an early age what they want to do so they can prepare themselves for the education path that's going to get them to where they need to be," said Sean Evans CEO of Junior Achievement Idaho.

Organizers say they'll be taking the program across the state. Next week they'll be in Pocatello and Twin Falls.
