Independent Presidential Candidate Evan McMullin sat down in the 6 On Your Side studio to discuss his visit to Idaho.

Saturday, McMullin held a rally in Boise as part of his campaign.

McMullin is on the ballot in 11 states but says he is registered as a write-in candidate in 43 states.

"The vast majority of Americans will be able to cast a vote for me on Nov. 8 that will count," he says.

McMullin says he is part of a new conservative movement that is more inclusive to women, young people and minorities.

"The number one thing is, is that we are the only true conservatives in this race," he says. "If the race is close between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, help us block them both. And if we can block them both and get this race to the House of Representatives, which is where the race would go if we were able to block them on Nov. 8, then I think we'll win."

McMullin's next campaign stop is is Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
