BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police and the Ada County Sheriff's Office are increasing patrols in one of Boise's most popular sightseeing areas. If you plan on driving up to Table Rock, you better not break the law.

There have been a number of reports of trespassing, graffiti, illegal parking and other violations up there recently. That is why both the Boise Police and the sheriff's office are now keeping a close eye on the area.

"It's unique to Boise, it's something that we all take pride in, but at the same time, we want to ensure that it stays as beautiful as it is for the future generation," said Lt. Michael Ruffalo, Boise Police Community Outreach Division.

If you go up to the area, remember parking is not allowed on East Table Rock Road south from Wild Horse Lane. If you park illegally, your vehicle could be towed.

There are also "no trespassing" signs around parts of Table Rock. Police say trespassers could be cited or arrested.
