IDAHO — The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we do just about everything.

According to Idaho Tourism, that includes the way we travel. Idaho Tourism says they've seen a huge increase in folks taking road trips during the pandemic.

They're working to provide online travel guides and other resources so you can enjoy everything Idaho has to offer.

Many tourist locations are taking advantage of their wide-open spaces to encourage tourists to enjoy social distancing--Idaho style.

"One thing we thought we could share with Idahoans was all the really cool things you can do right here in your backyard," said Gloria Miller, with Idaho Tourism's public relations.

If you're heading out to explore, make sure to check any mask regulations ahead of time for the area you're traveling. It's also important to know about any closures, and ALWAYS double check your reservation!
