IDAHO — A 7-year-old girl who was the subject of an AMBER Alert over the weekend has been found safe, and the woman accused of taking her is now facing a first-degree kidnapping charge.
Idaho State Police confirmed that the girl was located safely after authorities issued an AMBER Alert following her disappearance on Saturday.
Authorities said the girl was last seen around 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, near Railroad Lane in Payette. Police believed she had been taken by 32-year-old Amber Farson.
Farson has since been charged with first-degree kidnapping and is being held on $50,000 bond.
