Business leaders from Spain are in Boise for a week to help develop ideas and partnerships that will fuel mutual commerce.
Lt. Governor Brad Little explained that the trip and meetings have been an idea two years in the making.
"There's food processing technology that we can share. Particularly the Bilbao area is really big on energy and Idaho has a growing energy sector,” Lt. Little said. “Those are all common denominators to where we ought to be able to create success for businesses and Idaho workers going forward."
Officials hope that in the coming years, more trips will be planned out.
