Seniors can have a hard time getting the help they need, especially during snowy weather, that’s why Idaho Athletic Clubs in the valley gathered

Close to 4,000 pounds of pet food for a special program through the Idaho Humane Society. It provides pet food to seniors who also get meals on wheels.

"They're typically on a limited budget so this helps them so they don't have to pay for pet food," said Lisa Jarussi-Smith of the Idaho Humane Society.

Idaho Athletic Club offered two-week passes to those who donated to the campaign. They've done this fundraiser for years and the food gathered helps seniors during the roughest time of year.
