Eagle Fun Days is a fun way to soak up the sun this weekend. The yearly tradition brought hundreds of people out in downtown Eagle on Saturday for the big parade.
Festivities kicked off Friday night, and on Saturday festival goers enjoyed everything from live music and a classic car show, to vendors.
The city's mayor says the event not only brings Eagle an economic boost but also gives neighbors an opportunity to get to know each other a little better.
"We've grown so fast that it brings our new neighbors meet our older neighbors who have lived here for years and helps pull the community together," said Eagle Mayor Stan Ridgeway.
A handful of vendors backed out because of the heat, but Mayor Ridgeway says EMT's were on standby just in case. Festivities are winding down tonight, with a fireworks show scheduled to start shortly after 10 pm.
