Police were dispatched to the Homedale City Park about 6 p.m. Monday to investigate a “possible sexual assault” involving minors, Homedale Police Chief Jeff Eidemiller has confirmed.
Eidemiller released few details about the investigation, since it involves minors.
He said officers were called to the park by a Homedale High School official Monday evening. The high school is across the street from the park where the crime allegedly took place.
Officers questioned two juveniles, one male and one female, then released them to their parents, Eidemiller stated.
“We will turn our findings over to the Owyhee County Prosecutor, who will then decide if charges will be filed,” he said.
No further details were released.
