BOISE — Movers will start again Friday the process of relocating the historic Bishop Foote Guest House near downtown Boise to make way for the St. Luke's Hospital expansion.
It certainly hasn't been an easy move.
Last week, we reported crews had started moving the big brick house, which reportedly weighs over 300 tons.
But that project came to a halt when problems were discovered with the complex dolly system that helps move the structure.
Crews say they have now fixed that problem ... and will give the house-move another try, starting Friday morning and likely continuing into Saturday evening.
If all goes as planned, the house will make it to its permanent location on Avenue B -- just north of Warm Springs Avenue.
