The Hill Road Fire burning in Boise Foothills in the Pierce Gulch area has jumped to 200 acres. The fire was first reported at around 8:30 P.M. Friday night.
Boise Fire Division Chief Randy Howell says approximately ten homes are being threatened and the fire is still growing. Howell says structures that need to be evacuated have been evacuated. At last check no buildings have been destroyed or damaged and no injuries have been reported.
Eighty personnel are fighting the fire. The Boise Fire Department, BLM, and other Treasure Valley fire departments are on scene. The cause is under investigation.
