The Stop Drive In located in Glenns Ferry just across the street from where the fire burned was closed Monday, but not because of the fire, but because of the high winds.
The owners said they smelled smoke on Monday evening and then received a call from a friend saying they needed to go check out the drive in.
The business has been in the family for 40 years and a staple in the community of Glenns Ferry.
Thinking their business was burning down, a friend told them that the roof had actually blown off the building.
The owners said they'll just need some new swamp coolers to be able to open the doors again. They said they are hopeful they will get some installed Monday and have the doors open for business again by Tuesday.
