The abundantly wet winter and recent rains are putting many Treasure Valley farmers behind schedule.

The harsh winter and recent spring rainstorms are leaving farm fields saturated and soggy, delaying planting for many crops by at least two weeks across southwestern Idaho and eastern Oregon.

Some Treasure Valley farmers report being between 20 and 25 days behind schedule.

They say they'll make do for now but are seriously hoping they can get crops in the ground in the next two weeks.
