BOISE, Idaho — State officials are hosting the first of two open hearings on a so-called work requirement for Medicaid expansion Tuesday.
Idahoans can weigh in on the controversial restriction that still needs approval at the federal level. Tuesday's hearing is at the Idaho State Capitol from 1 to 3 p.m. and is hosted by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
Public comments are being accepted through September 22. Another hearing is Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Joe R. Williams building in downtown Boise.
