MERIDIAN, Idaho — The City of Meridian is holding a Town Hall Wednesday, July 24 to discuss the first draft of the Comprehensive Plan as well as E-scooters. The meeting runs from 6:30 to 8:20 p.m. at the Scentsy building in rooms 214 and 215.
The main focus of the meeting will be focusing on the comprehensive plan and the e-scooters, schedule to hit the streets at the beginning of August. The Town Hall will give citizens a chance to learn more about the comprehensive plan process. Citizens will be able to provide feedback on the draft plan and ask questions to the planning staff.
Following the comprehensive plan presentation, Bird, the City's chosen electronic scooter vendor will help attendees understand the purpose on e-scooters and educate them on safe riding. Attendees will be invited to stay after the Town Hall for a live demonstration of how to ride.
