BOISE, Idaho — Governor Little is holding a press conference on Idaho Rebounds Thursday at 12 p.m. There were no details about what is to be discussed during the conference in the press release.
Idaho moved into stage four of Idaho Rebounds on June 13, in which nightclubs were able to reopen as well as large venues as long as social distancing protocols could be followed. Visits to senior living facilities and congregate facilities like jails were able to resume.
Ada County is going back to a modified version of stage three effective June 24 at 12:01 a.m. The decision to move back comes after an increase in case counts in Ada County and exposure within public settings. There 303 new cases in Ada County last week, many of which are associated with people going to bars and nightclubs while not knowing they were infectious. The illness cluster surrounding bars and nightclubs has risen to 152 people.
CDH has not given a target end date for the stage reversal. Cases will be monitored and specific criteria will be used to help make decisions about moving between stages. You can find more information about those criteria by clicking here.
