BOISE — Governor-elect Brad Little will be publicly sworn in as the 33rd Governor of Idaho on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm on the Capitol steps.
Below is an itinerary for the week of events leading up to and following the inauguration.
THURSDAY, January 3, 2019
Governor-elect Brad Little and former Idaho Governor Phil Batt joined Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter as he performed his final official act as Governor in the Governor’s Ceremonial Office in the Capitol.
FRIDAY, January 4, 2019
9:30 AM: An Inaugural Prayer Service will take place at St. Michael's Episcopal Cathedral.
12:00 PM: The Gubernatorial Inauguration Ceremony for the Governor of Idaho and State of Idaho constitutional officers will take place on the south steps of the Capitol. Idaho Public Television will provide pool coverage of the inauguration.
1:00 PM: An open house inside the Capitol will allow the public to greet the newly sworn in constitutional officers through a receiving line.
SATURDAY, January 5, 2019
7:00 PM: The Inaugural Procession and Ball will take place in the Capitol.
8:00 PM: The Grand Procession of elected officers, legislators and distinguished guests in the Capitol.
MONDAY, January 7, 2019
1:00 PM: Governor Brad Little will deliver the State of the State and Budget Address inside the House Chambers. Idaho Public Television will provide pool coverage of the address.
