Go Fund Me account set up for Idaho man shot in Las Vegas

And a Meridian couple are back home safely

A Go Fund Me account was set up to help a Treasure Valley man pay for medical costs after he was caught in the massacre in Las Vegas Sunday night.

According to a Facebook post, Jason Hammond suffered a superficial head wound and a knee injury that required surgery.

So far, the fundraiser has raised $2,600 of a $5,000 goal.

Also, a Meridian couple are back home safe after the ordeal in Las Vegas.

Josh Stewart and Nicole Smith won tickets to through a radio contest. The couple tells us they made it back to Idaho after a flight delay in Denver.

"It feels good to be back in the Treasure Valley," said Stewart.
