Girl Scouts are celebrating a sweet anniversary. They've been selling cookies now for 100 years.
A local girl scout troop teamed up with the United Dairymen of Idaho Saturday to gather donations in the form of cookies and milk to hand off to the Idaho Foodbank.
"It's important because some people are homeless, and they don't have enough money to pay for food and bills," says Girl Scout Kyra Christensen, 10.
For every box of cookies donated to the Idaho Foodbank Saturday, the dairymen group provided a gallon of milk.
