Leaks in the geothermal system have been repaired, but the Boise wants people to report any other leaks they might find.
Yesterday a leak was detected in the geothermal heating district system. Today, a leak was detected at Military Reserve and the park and surrounding area was closed.
The city said the situation is under control in a Tweet.
The Department of Public Works is still determining if additional leaks are present, and anyone who identifies a leak is asked to use caution and contact Colin Hickman, Communications Manager for Boise City Public Works at (208) 972-8497.
