The Boise Goathead Festival is coming up next weekend, which means bicycle enthusiasts have been outdoors trying to get rid of the annoying tire popping plant.
The Boise Bicycle Project went to the Wylie Street Station Apartments Friday to help the children by fixing up their bikes. A 3-year-old girl died in a horrific stabbing spree at the complex a little over a year ago.
The Boise Bicycle Project has a goal of pulling 8,000 pounds of goatheads before the festival begins.
