A man wanted for a gruesome murder in Salt Lake City is behind bars in Ada County. Officers arrested Rodney Maxwell at a Garden City hotel on Thursday morning.
According to Salt Lake City police, Maxwell is the fifth suspect to be arrested in the death of Jason Nakonechni.
Nakonechni disappeared in September. On Wednesday, a Utah coroner positively identified his remains.
Salt Lake Police say they are working with authorities in Idaho to extradite Maxwell.
