A former Boise State player is behind bars on a felony charge of solicitation to deliver a controlled substance and a charge of obstructing or delaying an officer.

Police interviewed 35-year-old Jonathan Helmandollar of Nampa back in March after an Amber Alert was issued for his daughter. Police say during the interview, Helmandollar provided false information to police about his daughter's location. She was located safe in Cheney, Washington and was later turned over to the custody of health and welfare.

Police found evidence Helmandollar was trying to illegally get prescription drugs. He was arrested on the 4600 block of Stamm Lane on a warrant.
