Ada County officials have announced that the river floating season will start on Wednesday, June 29th.
River flows have finally dropped from almost historic highs to 1,420 CFS this week. The lower water levels allowed for the Boise Fire Department to clear debris from the water.
Remember, children under 14 are required to wear a PFD (personal floatation device).
Floaters also need to remember to pull out at Ann Morrison Park before the diversion dam.
