A five-year-old boy on a bike was hit by a car on Nez Perce west of Latah just after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21st.
The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately after the accident and when officers arrived, the driver was attempting to render aid to the child.
The five-year-old was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation into the crash is on-going.
