Election day is now just a week and a half away and people are turning out in numbers to cast their vote early.

Ada County's mobile voting unit was parked outside Boise State University's student union building Friday.

Some first time voters were pleased to discover just how quick the process can be if you're already a registered voter. They got it done within five minutes.

"I care about our country enough to take a small percentage of time to go show what I think," said Stuart Boyd, a BSU student majoring in marketing who voted for his first time. "And, that's kind of what we're doing this for... what do the American people think and this is an opportunity for us to really show that."

Ada County's mobile voting unit will be parked at the intersection of 8th and Bannock Streets in downtown Boise all next week. Their on site early voting locations include the elections headquarters on Benjamin Lane, the Eagle Senior Center and the city halls in both Boise and Meridian.
