The Boise Fire Department says a firefighter is in the hospital after a house fire in Boise on Thursday.
Officials say the firefighter was monitored for heat-related issues suffered while fighting a fire on Elkhorn Ave. near Curtis in Boise.
None of the people who live in the home were injured, but a dog did die in the fire.
