BOISE, Ida. — As the Fourth of July holiday draws closer and you plan your own fireworks show, fire officials are encouraging people to take safety measures.
It follows an incident Monday that saw firefighters battle flames near Table Rock. Officials say while the fire was quickly contained to less than an acre in size, it's a good reminder of how dangerous conditions can be this time of year. Officials tell us the fire was definitely not caused by natural sources.
As the Foothills dry out during summer, fire officials are asking everyone to be extremely careful with cigarettes and fireworks near brush.
