Lung cancer kills more women and men than the other top three cancer killers combined.
The American Lung Association is working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Saturday, more than one-hundred participants will climb 32 to 128 flights of stairs at the U.S. Bank Plaza for the Fight for Air Climb. The basic route totals 30 floors but some participants will repeat laps to complete up to 128 floors. Steppers range from ages 13 to 77.
All abilities are welcome to climb for the cause. Participants will begin climbing at 8 a.m.
The stair climb starts with a group of elite climbers, then a group fire-fighters in full gear will go, and friends and family will finish it out.
