Report: Multiple people injured in early morning fight

BOISE — UPDATE: Two people were transported to a Boise hospital with what authorities are describing as non-life threatening injuries after an early morning fight. Fifteen people were reportedly detained at the scene, but none are in custody at this time. Boise Police have since closed the call.

ORIGINAL STORY: Boise Police responded to a fight in the 10400 block of S. Broadway Avenue near Boise State University early Tuesday morning.

According to an Ada County dispatcher, multiple people were injured and that there was" some kind of weapon" involved in the fight. The call came in at about 1:50 a.m.. It is not clear yet what type of weapon was used or how many people are injured. Police tell us multiple people were also detained.

Police and medics are still on the scene, but there are no life threatening injuries. We will continue to follow this story and bring you updates as they come in.
