Dozens of local businesses joined forces to feed people in the Treasure Valley at the second annual "Feed Your Soul" Festival, this Saturday, June 30th. The community based free event ran all day at Capitol Park, benefiting the job training program at "Create Common Good".

The festival entertained visitors with live music, local food trucks, and fun for kids. Last years festival raised more than 20-thousand dollars for the local job training programs. The CCG's food service and job-training placement program helps people with barriers like refugees, women escaping domestic violence, and veterans find employment by learning new skills.

"I love this city and I love this community and I love how this community rallies around people who are maybe different in how they believe or how they look and we come together and we support one another as Boiseians I really love that about Boise", said Tracy Hitchcock, C.E.O. of Create Common Good.
