Families of deceased woman and kids that drove into Lucky Peak issue statement

The families of a woman and three kids who died after their vehicle drove into Lucky Peak Reservoir have issued a statement through Bowman Funeral Home.

“We are in a state of deep grief over our loss.  We appreciate the community's prayers and support.  We ask for privacy as we mourn.”--- Voermans and Bankhead families.

The funeral service for the deceased will be held at Calvary Chapel in Boise on Saturday, June 18th at 10:00 a.m.

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating how the vehicle left the roadway and plunged between 50-70 feet into the waters of Lucky Peak Reservoir on June 2nd.

The driver has been identified as Noel Voermans, 40, of Boise. The three children were Anika Voermans, 13, Logan Voermans, 11, and Gwyneth Voermans, 8.
