Thousands were in Downtown Boise on the Fourth of July for the We The People parade. This year's theme was "The Good in America".

"If we will take the opportunity to remind each other of what is good in America, we can find rallying points for action to make things even better" Natalie Boston, parade coordinator, said. "Celebrations like the parade are a great place to start."

Organizers say the theme was chosen as a way the Boise community could express and celebrate shared values.

"Nothing us more American than a good, old fashioned parade in Idaho," Margaret Wilson, Star resident, said.
