GARDEN CITY, Idaho — On Saturday, hundreds of Idahoans explored one of the most up-and-coming communities in the Treasure Valley at the annual Experience Garden City event.

The festival featured more than 80 vendors, from local wineries, breweries, food trucks, artists and more. The event happened along 34th Street between Chinden and the Greenbelt.

"We’re all neighbors in the community Boise, Eagle, Garden City, and everybody uses the greenbelt, what better way to celebrate all the different areas of the community than right here in Garden City," Chamber of Commerce President Dawn Snapp said. "Right smack dab in the middle of both areas, and the number of people who travel up and down the greenbelt everyday, this was the best and most ideal area to have it."

There were kids activities, live music and K-9 demonstrations from the Garden City Police Department.

Festivities wrapped up Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
