As you make plans for your Monday, don't forget many offices and businesses will be closed for the Federal Holiday.

Most schools and libraries will be closed, as well as county, state and federal offices. Post offices and most banks will be closed as well, with no regular mail deliveries on Monday. All state liquor stores will be open, and trash pick-up and public transportation should be running on normal schedules.

In Atlanta, the National Park Service will use a grant from Delta Air Lines and fee revenues to reopen the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park despite the government shutdown.
