Escape This Live Boise is an escape room where you have 60 minutes to figure out a series of puzzles to find the key, unlock the door, and get out.

The door to the room is locked, but there is always a spare key on the wall to get out. Items are only used one time to break into a room or crack a code.

Right now, there are two escape room themes to choose from.

"We have a pirate room and we have an old west saloon and we're building a wizard room, so we're very much on the adventurous side and we're just here for people to have fun," said Phil Herrington, Escape This Live Boise.

That wizard themed room is expected to open sometime this spring. When players begin, they aren't told where to start. Participants aren't given a clue unless they ask for it. They do get two clues if they need them.

Employees can see players from cameras inside the room and there is a timer running the whole time.
If participants do need a clue, they can hold up a sign and employees will put a clue on the monitor.

You must have a group of at least four people to play and Escape This Live Boise is by appointment only.

The game is recommended for ages 11 and older. Kids 11 to 15 need to have a paying chaperone in the room at all times.
