The Emmett Police Department is investigating a battery that involved a student and a teacher, but they’re releasing few details about it.
On the morning of May 8, the Department received a complaint of “an alleged incident that occurred at the Emmett High School the day before, during school hours. The isolated incident is being investigated ... as a simple battery between a teacher and a student,” said an Emmett Police Department news release.
Officials say there is no threat to the public.
“Information is limited due to the ongoing investigation,” the release said.
