RUPERT, Idaho — The Minidoka School District announced it will be taking a two-week break for disinfecting and sanitizing protocols, according to a letter from District Superintendent James Ramsey.

According to the letter, the school board of trustees met on October 22 to discuss and amend the pandemic operation plan for the district.

Students will return to school on November 9, according to the letter, and will follow a four-day schedule for the rest of the school year.

"Our district is faced with the challenge of educating our students in an ever-changing environment," the letter reads. "The District and community will continue to work together in this effort. We appreciate your support in this effort."
