Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a hit and run incident on Eagle road.
Eagle Police say the adult male driver, suspected to be Dallon Wheeler, of a white pickup truck got into a traffic crash with an SUV just north of Island Woods Drive just before 3:00 Tuesday afternoon. Police say he then ran away.
A police K9 tracked the suspect to the nearby Boise River before losing the scent. The suspect has active arrest warrants for felony drug charges out of Canyon County.
Police have not yet released a description.
