A duck has been found with a huge blow dart in its neck.
The official Lucky Peak Facebook page says the duck is too strong to be captured and helped, so it will likely suffer a slow death.
"Words fail," the post read. "This is not okay. This will not be excused with a verbal warning."
Possession of loaded blowguns and other projectile firing devices aren't allowed at the lake unless they are being used for hunting, fishing, or self defense. Target shooting isn't allowed either.
If you witness such abuses to wildlife in the future at Lucky Peak, officials ask that you please report the incident and as much information you can to the Lake Office at (208) 343-0671.
