BOISE, Idaho — Governor Brad Little's Drug Policy Task Force holds another meeting--all with the goal of solving the opioid crisis.

The group met in Boise Wednesday morning. Law enforcement, health professionals, pharmaceutical officials, and other experts come together to share ideas on how to best address the problem.

"It's easy for us in law enforcement to say we're going to be siloed about what we do and put bad people in jail. That doesn't help the problem alone. Certainly, the criminal justice process is a part of this. But it's just one part of it. There are multiple aspects if we are going to truly solve this problem," said. Col. Kedrick Wills, Director of Idaho State Police.

The group will eventually make recommendations to Governor Little on ways to effectively fight what many see as an opioid epidemic here in Idaho. The group operates under the auspices of the State Office of Drug Policy.
