Donald Trump Junior will be in Boise Thursday morning for both a Republican fundraiser and a media availability, Trump for President’s Idaho State Director Layne Bangerter announced Tuesday.
The two events are scheduled to be held at the Jackson Jet Center at 3815 Rickenbacker St. in Boise. The fundraising rally is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.; the media availability, one hour later.
“This came together on very short notice,” Bangerter said. “The Trump camp has noticed the energized campaign that we have here in Idaho and are recognizing and acknowledging that with Donald Trump Junior’s visit.”
“He has special connections to the West – being a conservationist and sportsman. So we’ll be talking with him about topics facing the West, such as land water issues,” he added.
“We realize Idaho is not a battleground state, and that Donald Trump needs to be in other areas of the country. Of course, we would certainly love to see Mr. Trump, himself, come to Idaho and some point,” Bangerter stated.
